Commercial Solar O&M in Vista

Vista's industrial corridor is exactly the solar stock we service
Vista's business park corridor, along Sycamore Avenue and Business Park Drive near SR-78, is one of North County's largest concentrations of light-industrial and flex buildings. Craft manufacturers, breweries, warehouses, machine shops. Buildings with big flat roofs, and over the last decade a lot of those roofs got solar.
These are single-site systems owned by the businesses under them, not utility-scale portfolios. Large national O&M firms are built around portfolio contracts and rarely prioritize a single 100 kW roof. Many of the original installers are sales organizations that moved on, or, like SunPower, are gone entirely. That leaves a corridor full of arrays with no one contractually responsible for keeping them producing.
That gap is our core business. We are 20 minutes away, and this system size is what we do all day.
Flat roofs, single sites
Vista's corridor is light-industrial and flex buildings: craft manufacturers, warehouses, machine shops. Big flat roofs carrying one array in the 30-500 kW range. We service everything from 30 kW rooftops to multi-megawatt ground-mount sites, and this is the system size large national O&M firms rarely roll a truck for.
No facilities department
Most of these buildings are run by the owner or a lean operations team, not a corporate facilities group. Nobody is staring at the monitoring portal. A failed string can sit unnoticed until the SDG&E bill jumps.
Downtime at peak rates
SDG&E commercial peak rates run $0.22-$0.34/kWh. Every hour a Vista array sits down or degraded, the building buys that power back from the grid. The economics of maintenance are the economics of not paying peak rates twice.
What does it cost to get started?
Every Vista system we take on starts with a paid intro site assessment at published flat rates: $175 truck roll plus $200 per hour per technician, two-tech minimum, 2-hour minimum. Two licensed technicians document what is actually on your roof, verify operating status, and deliver a written preventive maintenance plan.
